Sermon 75, Job 20:16-20
The sermon is about God’s righteousness and justice. The wicked man will eventually perish and be unhappy.
“Let us pray that he will grant us the grace to enjoy the possessions he has placed in our hands, as is his intention. Or if he wishes to deprive us of them, may he give us the power to bear patiently the poverty he sends us.”
I understand that we should enjoy the world but always be aware that everything we have is due to God’s grace, that it is transitory, and we should be more concerned with the next life.
